Costs for Accommodation

Accommodation for those coming from outside Cape Town can normally be provided at either Rochester House, UCT or in the Nurse's Home at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital (RCWMCH). Rochester House is a UCT facility and is situated close to Groote Schuur Hospital and is on UCT transport route to the main UCT campuses.  The Nurse's Home at RCWMCH is on the same site as the Child Nurse Practice Development Initiative and is where the majority of lectures will occur. After extensive research, we consider these two options preferable in terms of cost and location in comparison to the other main UCT residences on offer.

If you require accommodation, a request must be made in writing to Mrs Faiza Pearce by the beginning of November in year prior to study.
